Citadel - Paints - Necron Compound
Citadel Dry: Necron Compound
Instantly bring out the finest metallic textures on your miniatures with Necron Compound, a premium dry paint formulated to pick out raised edges and mechanical details with ease. Engineered with a uniquely thick, heavy composition, this bright silver shade is perfect for the fast, effective drybrushing of weathered metal, exposed machinery, and ancient robotic frames.
Whether you are painting sci-fi android armies, industrial pipes, battle-worn weapons, or metallic fantasy armor, this specialized paint delivers sharp, clean highlights with minimal effort.
Key Benefits & Features
- Optimized Dry Formula: Thick, low-moisture consistency makes it incredibly easy to load onto your brush for immediate, precise drybrushing.
- Instant Weathering Effect: Catches only the raised surfaces of your models, quickly creating a realistic, scratched, or battle-damaged metal look over darker metallic base coats like Leadbelcher.
- Crisp Silver Highlights: Delivers a bright, clean silver finish that adds metallic realism and an aged appearance to complex mechanical textures.
- Water-Based & Safe: Non-toxic acrylic composition that thins and washes out of your drybrushes easily with warm water and soap.
Why You'll Love It
Drybrushing is one of the fastest ways to make a mechanical miniature look highly detailed, and Necron Compound makes the process foolproof. Its chalky, dense nature allows you to highlight massive armies or industrial terrain pieces in a fraction of the time, providing a crisp, table-ready finish that makes every rivet and wire pop.
