BattleTech – Core Rulebook
A richly illustrated hardcover tabletop miniature wargaming rulebook for BattleTech, published by Catalyst Game Labs. Set in the war-torn future of the 31st century and beyond, this comprehensive rulebook places players in command of towering, heavily armed BattleMechs as rival interstellar empires, noble Great Houses, mercenary companies, and powerful warrior Clans battle for control of humanity's scattered worlds. Developed through extensive community playtesting, this updated rulebook provides streamlined tactical combat mechanics, detailed rules for movement, weapons, armor, heat management, battlefield terrain, and environmental hazards. It also introduces expanded Battlefield Support and Aerospace Support systems, alongside comprehensive equipment references and a flexible Missions framework for building armies, selecting objectives, and creating customized battlefield encounters. Featuring detailed diagrams, immersive artwork, and more than 270 pages of rules and gameplay guidance, this book supports everything from small-scale skirmishes to elaborate military campaigns. Fully compatible with existing BattleTech miniatures, maps, and nearly all previously published unit record sheets, it provides both newcomers and experienced commanders with the tools needed to experience the strategic depth, political conflicts, and devastating mechanized warfare of the BattleTech universe.
